{Out Exploring With My Boys | Devils Backbone, Colorado}

We are totally loving Colorado so far. it's so amazing to be living somewhere that has an actual winter. I'm sure I'll feel differently in a few months or so, but for now we are eating it up. My 6 year old is in hog heaven with the snow. Having to wear snow boots to school is a new thing for him. Pretty sure he hates regular shoes now. ;)

And the view here? Oh my gosh, there is nothing like it! We look at the mountains from our porch constantly. My kids will just eat breakfast while gazing at the mountains in the distance. Every time we drive anywhere I tell my husband "it's so beautiful!" Every. Single. Time. But I just can't help myself. It is truly so beautiful.

We've loved exploring this new place we call home. We've have a quite long list of places to go see, and we are slowly but surely marking them off. :) I thought I'd share a few photos from a couple of the places we've been so far.

A few of these are from Devil's Backbone Open Space in Loveland, and, I can't even express how beautiful this place is. Seriously, a must go to see. Just bring comfy shoes because it is quite a hike. The last few are from Mehaffey Park in Loveland, which is not the best place for photo sessions, but definitely the coolest park we've ever been to.

I hope you enjoy! :)
